OPEN DAILY 9am - 4pm (weather permitting) for cross country skiing & snowshoeing during winter. Always call ahead and check the snow report page or our phone message.

Summer season we offer mt. bike racing for those who are up for a challenge. Check out our mt. biking page for more details.

Rim Nordic Ski Area, 5 miles east of Running Springs, on the way to Big Bear Lake, in the San Bernardino Mountains across from Snow Valley Mt. Resort. Base elevation is 6775', with our expert trails climbing to over 7000'. 12km of groomed trails for classic as well as skating. 2 square miles & more of accessible snowshoeing terrain.

If you want to use your GPS...please try using Snow Valley Mt. Resort. Any other addresses will get you lost!

So sorry, but NO DOGS OR SLEDS ALLOWED at Rim Nordic.

On Highway 18 - 5 miles east of Running Springs, across from Snow Valley Mountain Sports Park on the way to Big Bear Lake.

Coming from the South :

I-15 to the I-215 N toward RIVERSIDE / SAN BERNARDINO 40.7 Miles

Merge onto I-10 E toward REDLANDS. 5.4 Miles

Merge onto CA-210 W toward CA-330 / HIGHLAND. 4.6 Miles

Merge onto CA-330 N toward MTN RESORTS. 15.4 Miles

CA-330 N becomes CA-18 / RIM OF THE WORLD HWY. 5.7 Miles

End at Rim Nordic Ski Area

Coming from anywhere in SoCal :

Take Hwy. 330 to Running Springs. It turns into Hwy. 18 as you head to Big Bear. About 5 miles past Running Springs, your at Snow Valley Ski Resort, which is on the right hand side. Rim Nordic's entrance is on the left hand side of the highway.
